Dr. Ehsan Karimian
Dr. Ehsan Karimian had both his orthodontic and dental training in the Bay Area. He received his orthodontic specialty training at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He also attended UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco for his dental training where he graduated with honors. During those years he fell in love with Marin County and all it has to offer. He also holds dental and orthodontic degrees from Iran where he had the opportunity to help people in the underserved areas. Dr. Karimian is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics is a unique achievement. In order to become Board Certified, Dr. Karimian passed a comprehensive oral and written examination covering all phases of orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic care. He also had to present to the Board detailed case reports on the treatment he provided for a broad range of orthodontic problems. This journey placed him at the top of his specialty. Dr. Karimian was awarded at the Invisalign Summit for his treated case with Invisalign.
Dr. Soroush Ghafarpoor
Dr. Ghaffarpour, or "Dr. G," graduated at the top of his class from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. With a science and artistic background, he treats dental diseases and creates beautiful smiles. Active in professional organizations like ADA and CDA, Dr. G stays updated. He volunteers locally and internationally, providing free dental care.

My name is Lizzy Stone, I am a registered dental hygienist with 15 years of experience. I was born and raised in Petaluma and am fortunate to still be living here. I love my job it is very rewarding, I get to take care of patients’ oral health and help educate about the oral cavity and and how it affects their overall health. I am married to my husband Kevin who is a Captain at Marin County Fire Department. We have a son named Jesse and a daughter named Molly. We enjoy all Petaluma has to offer, great restaurants, shopping, landscape, and community events.

Patty McKenna
I’m Patty McKenna and have had the pleasure of working in our dental office for the last 34 years as a Dental Assistant and Office Manger. My first 25 years were with our dear Dr. Dave Christensen. Nine years ago Dr. Dave retired and Dr. Mona Mahmoodi bought the practice. I thought I would retire soon after but once I started working with the lovely Dr. Mona and seeing what a wonderful person and dentist she is I decided to stay! How could I leave our beautiful new state of the art office. I now work one day a week and I enjoy seeing our patients many of whom I have known for many years as well as meeting new patients. Needless to say I really enjoy Dr. Mona and all the staff some of whom we have been together for many years. My husband Danny and I moved to Petaluma 38 years ago and raised our son and daughter here and have enjoyed all Petaluma has had to offer our family. We now have four adorable grandchildren that we spend much of our time with and enjoy every bit of it.
